The image of Hull has been a subject of great debate within the city in recent years.
Organisations like Hull Cityimage and its partners have made real progress in promoting Hull and the current wave of new investment provides an unrivalled opportunity to reshape key areas of the city.
Image matters not only in attracting investment and improving confidence, it’s also important for our businesses to attract the best people, for our tourism industry to attract more visitors; and for our University to attract more students. Once people get to Hull, they like it and tend to stay.
Hull Business Forum is seeking to:
Every local business is already supporting Hull by investing and employing in the city. Most businesses also work closely with their communities, charities and various initiatives to make Hull a better place.
Every local business can support the city’s image by being ambassadors for the city and ‘talking it up’ to business contacts across the region, UK and wider world. A wealth of useful information about the city is available at www.hull.co.uk.
You can also help by using Hull branding on your e-mails, letterheads or business cards (contact Nick Pontone at the Forum on 01482 324976 or at n.pontone@hullbusinessforum.com in the first instance) or by using some of the stunning images in your corporate literature available from Cityimage.
Finally, you can support the Wilberforce 2007, perhaps by linking the website or logo to your e-mails/letterheads; sponsoring an event; or contributing your ideas. The Forum is running a Wilberforce 2007 Business Project Group, if you would like to be involved or receive further information please contact Nick Pontone.
