The ONE HULL Business Forum in association with Hull City Council has developed a series of ‘Learning Lunches’ which are open to all local business people who wish to find out more about how the Council undertakes various processes.
As well as providing excellent networking opportunities, these free lunch events are a useful way to find out about important areas of the Council’s work in an informal setting.
The next Learning Lunch will take place on Tuesday 30th March and Kevin Whitaker, Assistant Procurement Manager at Hull City Council, will speak about:
- How to successfully complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires
- How to engage effectively with the Council’s procurement process
- The rules and regulations regarding public sector procurement and contract management
This Learning Lunch will give you the opportunity to put your own questions to a senior council representative and find out more about how to complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires. It will also enable you to gain a wider understanding of how public sector procurement works and how your business can benefit.
Whatever the size or sector of your business this Learning Lunch is free to attend although places are limited to one person per organisation and will be offered on a first come first served basis.
All Learning Lunches will commence at 12 noon and will take place at the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce offices at 34/38 Beverley Road, Hull.
Full details of the 2010 series of Learning Lunches are available here
