Would you like to cut costs at work and become a leaner greener business in the process?

Making your organisation more energy-efficient through low or no-cost measures as well as capital improvements makes good environmental as well as business sense.  In a economic climate where there’s increased pressure to control costs and with energy prices set to rise even further, the benefits of focusing on energy consumption in the work place have never been greater.  Good energy management and well planned investments can give you the ability to reduce costs in the long and short term and make your business greener in the process, all leading to increased competitive edge.

This seminar hosted by the Humber Environmental Network will introduce the topic and provide insights in to reducing energy consumption in your building as well as some of the legislation in this area it pays to be aware of.  Some practical steps you can take will be highlighted, including lighting upgrades, heat recovery and use of thermal imaging to identify problem heat loss areas in either your building or plant equipment.  There will also be a useful update on the micro generation market, including updates on funding structures that make renewable technologies pay.  A networking lunch is also included.
