Invitation to Create a Green Vision for Hull
This event is not organised by the ONE HULL Business Forum. Please confirm details with the event organiser before travelling.
The Green City Group of the City Leadership Board and Hull Business Forum would like to invite you to participate in a business event to help develop a future green vision for the City.
The development of Green Port Hull places the City at the front of a new renewable energy future. This presents the City with the opportunity to build on this and establish itself as a leading green City in the UK and Europe.
The development of the vision will gather the thoughts and views of the whole city. We are holding four events to gather the views of the business, public, voluntary/community sectors and children/ young people.
The vision that will develop over these events will be finalised at a Green Summit in March alongside a roadmap that will set out how as a City we can and will deliver this vision.
We would like you to be able to attend the event for the business sector on the 29th February at the Village Hotel Hull at 7.30am for 8.00am start, finishing at 10.00am to help develop the vision. There will be breakfast rolls and pastries from 7.30am.
To ensure that these events create the vision that the City deserves we have appointed Appreciating People an organization experienced in this work and they were key to developing the vision for the highly successful Liverpool European City of Culture.
Because of the way we will be running the visioning work at the events we are limited to 50 participants. If you would like to attend the event and help build Hull’s Green City vision then please reply to Denise Smedley via email.
If you would like further information on the events and the development of the vision then please contact Martin Budd on 01482 612142 or email.
