For Entrepreneurs Only (FEO) are organising a breakfast briefing entitled “Raising Funds for Business Growth” taking place 8am to 10am at Staff House, the University of Hull on Wednesday 29th February.

Tim Carlisle, chair of the FEO’s Growth Group said:

“When we ask people about the main challenges they face when growing a business, being able to access finance is often at the top of the list.

“There are many ways you can raise funds for your business, so we are providing a format where you can hear local entrepreneurs share their experiences and have the chance to put your questions to the potential funders.”

Speakers at the event include: Peter Sykes of Acorn Fund, Mark Eggleston, Director of W.J. Components Ltd, Clare Bennett, Managing Director of Pole 4 Fitness, Gerard Toplass, Technology and Education Entrepreneur, Steve Hanson of Barclays, and Rob Worrell, Group Managing Director of The Insurance Partnership. Also featured will be a case study from growing business, Fan Frames, who have been receiving support from FEO Member Jonathan Elvidge, Co-founder of RED5 Retail Ltd.
