Learning Lunches

The ONE HULL Business Forum in association with Hull City Council has developed a series of ‘Learning Lunches’ which are open to all those who wish to find out more about how the Council undertakes various processes.

The ONE HULL Business Forum also holds lunches independently from Hull City Council using Private Sector representatives to cover business topics ranging from management techniques through to Social Media Marketing.

There is no charge for the Learning Lunches but places are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.

Last year, topics covered in our Learning Lunches included Business Support, Equality & Cohesion, Climate Change, Planning & Parking - all in conjunction with Hull City Council. We also held additional Learning Lunches with private sector organisations focusing on Social Media Marketing, Employment Law Changes and Leadership & Development.

This year we currently have two Learning Lunches scheduled as follows:

  • Legal implications of social media marketing (with Devine Law) - Wednesday 29 February 2012
  • Business support (with Hull City Council) - Wednesday 28 March 2012

All lunches will commence at 12noon and last for around 1 - 1.5 hours. The venue will be the Chamber of Commerce offices at 34/38 Beverley Road.

Full details of each event will be made available before each meeting on our events page and circulated to Forum members via the newsletter.
